Abhinav Swargarjana Dhol-Tasha Pathak, is a volunteer based group of Panvel. It is a group of individuals who plays Traditional Instruments like Dhol, Tasha, Toll on various occassions like, Dahi Handi, Navratri, Dassera, Gudi Padva, Swami Samarth Palkhi and the most awaited Ganpati Festival.

 

Abhinav Swargarjana Dhol-Tasha Pathak, was established on 4 October 2014, with mere 30 Dhols, and 10 Tashas. The moto was to carry further the tradition of Dhol-Tasha. With help of Passionate volunteers Swargarjana Dhol-Tasha Pathak, was formed.

 

Since beginning Abhinav Swargarjana is focused to establish a milestone in this traditional folk art. With continuous efforts the organization has grown up in multiples. Swargarjana started its journey with 30 Dhols, but within the completion of 1 year the no. has reached upto 70 Dhols. The pathak today has more than 100+ volunteers and still many are joining.

 

Today Abhinav Swargarjana Dhol-Tasha Pathak, is one of the well known pathak of Panvel. Within 1 Year Swargarjana has performed at many ocassions like Shiv-Jayanti, Maghi Ganpati, Gagangiri Maharaj Palkhi, Gudi Padva, Sambhaji Jayanti, Dassera and Ganpati Festival.

 

Swargarjana is working hard to spread this culture of Dhol-Tasha, not only in Maharashtra but also in other states, and we got that chance too. Swargarjana has also performed at an commercial event held in Indore and whole Abhinav Swargarjana Team was feeling Proud and happy that we got a chance to show our culture out of Maharashtra.
